Stuck on a lender's SVR
The state of this market has been much debated and we are all aware that many of us are struggling to remortgage, with lenders only offering their best deals to those who have equity of 25%. What many do not realise is that some lenders allow product transfers that do not have such stringent requirements for equity and, most importantly, have reasonable rates. You may well be able to get a good transfer rate even at 95% loan to value.
